About Us
The Gardline Group is one of the largest privately-owned UK companies specialising in the provision of Survey and Mapping services. Established in 1969, the company now employs over 700 personnel and operates worldwide, supported from offices in Great Yarmouth, Houston and Singapore, with JV offices in other locations such as Australia and Canada.
The company has provided Digital Mapping Services since 1985. During this period, considerable experience has been gained from a variety of projects, in conjunction with a continuous programme of investment in the latest mapping technology.
Services range from the digitising of maps and charts, records conversion, website and presentation design, provision of contract staff, to consultancy and training. Customers include national agencies such as the Ordnance Survey and Ministry of Defence, utilities, local government and environmental agencies.
History
1985: Gardline begin work on digital mapping, as a department of
Gardline Surveys.
1993: Gardline Infotech is formed as an operating division of Gardline Surveys 1996: Gardline Infotech becomes a Limited Company 2002: Gardline Infotech and CA Design Services form the Gardline Information Solutions Group within the Gardline Group. The remit is to explore the synergy between the two companies, expanding the capabilities and service offerings of both companies, whilst allowing each to maintain an individual identity. 2005: Gardline Infotech becomes a trading division of C A Design Services Ltd, remaining within the Gardline Group. |
